THE MONSTARS

BIOGRAPHY

The ultimate indie pop & rock band, The MonStars, have the energy, experience and skills to keep the party going all through the night. Their full line-up is a 4-piece band with lead vocals and guitar, bass with backing vocals, drums with backing vocals, and a lead guitarist. They can do a more compact lineup with 3 band members with backing tracks to give that full twinkly radio-esq sound. The band has been bringing the best of Britpop, rock, indie and pop hits to events up and down the country since 2019, and have been described as ‘epic’ and ‘absolutely fantastic’ from past clients, so you rest assured you’ll get a stellar performance from The MonStars

The band members are so friendly, and warm. They love to have fun and bring people together. They are more than happy to make announcements on the mic for you during your event to ensure everyone does what you need them to do at just the right time, whether that’s to gather for the first dance, or to grab some food at the buffet, or to go outside for fireworks, or to run outside for skinnydipping in the lake (yes, they’ve even MC’ed for that before!), the band have you covered!

The band is fronted by the phenomenal Adam, who studied at the renowned British Institute of Modern Music. Aside from being a live performing musician, Adam is also a sought-after music producer who is proud to have played and mixed with some of his favourite independent and major label artists.

  • Adam is supported by Charlie on bass and backing vocals, Andy on drums and backing vocals, and Chris on lead guitar. All members of the band are full-time working musicians. Collectively, they have all studied at the prestigious British Institute of Modern Music, and all were introduced to music through each of their dads pointing them in that direction from a young age! Andy on drums went on to be shortlisted for Young Drummer of The Year Award in 2014 - a proud moment for his dad! The band is proud to be part of a high-calibre collective of musicians that are some of the most in-demand talent in the UK music industry. So you can book with total peace of mind and know that The MonStars will deliver a top-notch performance every time.

Like all great bands, they are a group of best friends who all have a passion for rocking out and winning crowds over. The boys love nothing more than seeing everyone on the dance floor and having everyone sing the lyrics back to them! You might have seen the boys working alongside Little Mix, Sarah Darling, The Dhol Foundation, Elle Exxe, Jamie Lawson, Omar, The Wandering Hearts, Bow Anderson, Samuel Jack, Conrad, James Arthur, and KSI; or perhaps you’ve seen them performing at V Festival, Isle of White Festival, Download Festival, SXSW, BST Hyde Park, All Points East, C2C Festival; or at venues such as Shepherds Bush Empire, Bush Hall, Union Chapel, Sage Gateshead, Royal Albert Hall, Standon Calling, O2 Academies, Wilton Music Hall, The Apollo, Omeara; or maybe you’ve heard or seen them on Sunday Brunch, BBC Radio 2, Capital FM, or on BBC Children In Need. It’s quite possible you’ve heard these lads play for you before, and you just didn’t know it - bring their professionalism and excellence to your event and book them today!

With a repertoire of over 100 songs, The MonStars are the perfect 3 or 4-piece indie pop & rock band for your event and can guarantee to get the young and the young at heart on the dance floor. Whether it's a wedding, birthday party or another special occasion, The MonStars will have you and your guests dancing all night long. Their repertoire spans multiple decades and genres, with their specialism definitely in the rock-pop pocket. Genres in their repertoire include Britpop, rock, indie, pop-rock, pop, funk & soul, and Christmas songs.

The MonStars welcome you to tailor the setlist for your big day. For a standard 2x60 mins or 3x40mins performance you can select up to 32 songs from the band’s 100 song repertoire, and the band will endeavour to accommodate all of your requests, given a month’s notice. For short notice bookings, you are still very welcome to send over your suggestions, and as always, the band will do their utmost to accommodate as many requests as possible. The MonStars is also very happy to learn an ‘off the menu’ song request for you, for example, a first dance or your favourite song.

Upon booking, you will have a dedicated band manager as your point of contact to ensure the band is 100% on the same page as you well in advance of your event. Having this point of contact means you can count on excellent, fast, friendly, and warm communication at all times. It also means that come the big day every single crease will be ironed out and it will mean smooth sailing for both client and band alike.

All in all, The MonStars band members are a very friendly and flexible bunch and take great pride in providing excellent musicianship and creating a really fun atmosphere wherever they go. The band has a big long list of songs spanning different genres and decades for you to pick from and can play complimentary playlist music (which you are welcome to tailor) before, in-between, and after live sets until curfew. The band can be on-site for up to 7 hours, or until midnight as standard. They are happy to accommodate early arrivals and late stays after midnight if needed too. The band is also able to provide a band member DJ-ing should you wish to have a live DJ before, between, or after band sets. The band brings a full PA and lighting rig with them wherever they go, so all you need to do is book the band and you can tick the entertainment off your to-do list in one fell swoop because The MonStars will have you covered.

If you've any questions about the band and what they offer please don't hesitate, we’ll be more than happy to help.
