With over 100 of the best sing along and dance-floor filling songs in their repertoire The Hot Shots will play exactly what you want to hear at you wedding, corporate event, or function.

The Hot Shots is a group of extremely talented musicians bringing the best rock, pop and indie party music to stages and dance floors up and down the UK. The band is fronted by Laurent, our seasoned vocalist, performer and guitarist extraordinaire. Laurent's vocal and guitar expertise and natural charisma will win you and all of your guests around from the first song. The Hot Shots comes as a 3 or 4-piece band, their lineup is lead vocals / rhythm guitar, bass, drums / backing vocals, and plus a lead guitarist for the 4 piece option.

The Hot Shots comes in different line ups to fit different floor spaces and hearts’ desires. This band is half British, half Swiss. Switzerland makes some pretty good cheese, but their musicianship is equally as tasty!

Laurent, who is British through and through, despite what his name might suggest(!) is regularly jetting off to cruise lines around the world as a special guest entertainer, which is the kind of gig only the most talented of vocalist-musicians are able to land.

Collectively the band has all studied at the prestigious British Institute of Modern Music (BIMM). This band’s favourite repertoire is rock, followed swiftly by pop, indie / alternative, and folk. Laurent is backed by Ewan on bass and backing vocals, Alex on guitar and backing vocals, and Martin on drums and backing vocals. You might have seen these lads playing at the 100 club, the Big Brother House, Larmer Tree Festival, Cambridge Folk Festival, 100 Wardour St, and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. The band have also had the honour of playing with Emeli Sande, Peter Andre, The Corrs, Jedward and The Voice and X-Factor finalists Jack Bruley, Katie Coleman, and Najwa Ezzaher. They’ve got an extensive repertoire of over 200 songs covering largely rock, pop, alternative / indie, folk, soul and other genres including Hawaiian, Latin, jazz, swing, jangle pop, holiday and acoustic across the decades - just take a look below!

Once you’ve booked the band you can count on excellent and fast communication, as well as having full control over what songs the band plays on your special night. The band will make sure they’re 100% on the same page as you well in advance of your event. They’ll also bring their best party tricks for your guests to tap into between sets, including Alex playing the Sweet Child O Mine guitar solo on his knees, with the guitar behind his head and even with his teeth - definitely one to ask about!! The band brings a full PA and lighting rig with them wherever they go.

Amazing band! Everyone loved them and couldn’t stop dancing all night. They were such friendly guys as well.
— Layla, Corporate, London , 2017
WOW! What can we say?... We both found it really nerve racking - choosing a band we’d never seen before to play at our wedding reception - but we really had absolutely nothing to worry about. The guys were amazing! Everything from helping out with playlists, timings for the day and even a (drunken) fall on the dance-floor, nothing was too much trouble. The dance-floor filled as soon as they started playing and didn’t clear until they had finished. So many guests (of all ages and musical tastes!) have commented on how good they thought the Hot Shots were. If you are considering booking then we couldn’t recommend enough :) Thanks again guys, you made the evening!
— Chloe & Tom, Wedding, Warwickshire, 2016
Laurent and the guys from the The Hot Shots were simply fantastic. They helped make our wedding so fun and enjoyable for everyone who attended, we can’t thank them enough!
— Bella & Paul, Wedding, Cambridgeshire, 2017
Band arrived promptly, knew exactly what they needed to do and got on with it. They made my job easy as they were in position and ready to play without any prompt. Performance was excellent, they got the crowd dancing and did requests too. We had to stop live music at 11pm and the band was well prepared and finished their last song at 10.59pm :) The DJ that followed right after was perfect and a great range of songs to keep the crowd dancing :)
— Izzy & Sam, Wedding, Hertfordshire, 2018
The band were spectacular- all our guests commented on how fantastic they were. From the first to the last song, they were energetic and fun. High octane, high energy and amazing talent. Great connection with the audience and they even allowed some of our guests to perform with them. Would recommend them in a heartbeat. Thank you for finishing our best day ever with a flourish - So good they broke my dress!!
— Mary & Phil, Wedding, Hertfordshire, 2018
There was great correspondence between the band manager and us in the run up to the day, they were a pleasure to deal with and their performance was absolutely amazing. Worth every penny and more. Our guests, and we, loved it!
— Vicky & Bob, Wedding, Hampshire, 2017
Amazing, amazing, amazing! The Hot Shots are incredible and made our wedding party the best ever!!
— Skyler & Ollie, Wedding, London, 2018
The booking process was incredibly easy and we were always kept well informed up to the day itself. Rhona was quick to reply and sort out any queries and the band were amazing at keeping in touch leading up to the event. The band are four of the nicest people that you could meet, were incredibly relaxed and put on a performance that we could have only dreamed of. They played an amazing version of our first dance and even learnt a new song as a surprise for the bride! Absolutely faultless.
